“ Tried some new menu items and all the food was awesome! We loved the truffle honey on the ricotta and the ceviche was super light and refreshing. I also want to shout out the manager Frankie as he checked on us multiple times throughout the evening and ensured we had an awesome experience. My friends and I will definitely be back to this location! ”
“ From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by Zac and Arja, who made us feel instantly welcome and kept us updated while we waited for our table—such a great first impression! Our server, Remi, was absolutely fantastic—super friendly, attentive, and incredibly efficient. He was on top of everything: clearing our dishes promptly, keeping our waters filled, and even replacing my husband’s iced tea before he finished it. The food was just as impressive as the service. We started with the Spicy Crab Dip and absolutely loved it—rich, flavorful, and perfect to share. I had the Lettuce Wraps, which were fresh, tasty, and satisfying. My husband went with the Grilled Chicken Club, which was massive and delicious—he was very pleased! All in all, an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. We can’t wait to come back! ”
“ I’ve been to this place twice now, and both times, Camille has been my server. She’s absolutely amazing! The first time I was there, I told her I’d definitely come back whenever I had the chance, and I’m so glad I did. Camille is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and her suggestions were spot on. The service is top-notch, and the food always comes out right on time. The food here is honestly the best I’ve had in Calgary! Camille made sure to ask us about every specification we needed for our dishes, which I really appreciate. My favorites are the cauliflower tacos and the warm Italian donuts - so delicious! And the Zip margaritas? Hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. This has become my new favorite spot in Calgary, and I highly recommend it to anyone. You won’t be disappointed! ”

“ Great food, I got the herb roasted salmon and paired it with a rose of our server’s choosing, which was a great pairing! I also had a beer after my wine, and while it wasn’t my favourite beer, I still think it was serviceable (maybe if I paired it with a beer-friendly entree?). Overall, great! ”
“ This was our first time visiting Joey Chinook and all I can say is WOW. The service, the atmosphere and the food, oh my. Everything was absolutely perfect. Our Server Carly was fantastic and the floor manager Eliza was simply exceptional. We arrived and we were waiting for a member of our party, we were seated immediately and in a comfy booth. Service was prompt from Carly and when items were ready to come out it was truly all hands on deck service. The food was simply stunning, and Eliza provided perfect explanation of each item. Eliza actively seeked out our feedback for items that were amazing and we were able to feel like we were part of the developing experience at Joey. Eliza brought us a custom desert selection the was nothing short of stunning in both presentation and taste. I’m not sure I can recall a better experience in a Calgary restaurant (or anywhere else). We closed the night with wrapping up with Carly again and she was attentive and helpful and absolutely service focussed. Thank you Joey Chinook for a fantastic experience!! ”
“ WOW! That’s what I said when I walked out with a smile. The service was amazing! Food was delicious and the overall atmosphere was so inviting. Came here a day ago with my mom, doing some wedding planning and the restaurant gifted us some champagne! Not only that, as we were leaving, the guy at the host stand gifted us a bottle of the sparkling tea that we tasted when we arrived. (I’m from BC, and I never have gotten this great of treatment anywhere!) 100% recommend this place to anyone and I can’t wait to be back! ”
